The protective window prevents contamination and damage to high-quality laser optics caused by splashes from the cutting or welding process. The rapid replacement guarantees a very short interruption of the production process. Depending on the system, the protective glass is mounted directly on the sensor insert or on an exchangeable cassette and cooled by a flow of cutting gas.
